He certainly sounded as strong as ever at the NY show (Apr 9) despite picking up a cold in Toronto, where it was apparently sub-zero.

In fact it appears that the band is undergoing a rejuvenation with the addition of a new singer Ron, young, a voice uncannily like Calvert, and totally weird. This US tour is his debut.

At the show, the girl had run out of t-shirts and was hastily scribbling US mail-order info onto slips of paper.

There was also a flyer for UK mail-order including Galactic Tour and Hawkindian T-shirts and some videos.

Ron was body-painted by a guy called DC, who had also made his own flyer. I suggested to him that this would be an excellent candidate for computer coloration, being all closed paths, and he liked the idea, in fact, any coloration, so what we have is the full size .pcx .zip.
